Dawn Shober Jardini is a financial professional and homemaker located in the Pittsburgh area. Her work experience includes bank examination for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, corporate foreign exchange interest rate derivative strategies for Mellon Bank’s Capital Markets Department (Pittsburgh and London), and financial support to her family’s diversified investment portfolio and acquisitions. For example, in this latter pursuit, Dawn provided financial expertise for the founding of C/G Electrodes, a manufacturer of synthetic graphite electrodes used in the world’s steel mills, and the acquisition of American Gas Lamp works and the West Salisbury Foundry and Machine Company. She also provides portfolio analysis support for her family’s range of passive investments in real estate, medical technology and other fields.

Dawn earned a B.S. in Finance at Penn State University (1992) and an MBA at the University of Pittsburgh (1997). In addition, she successfully completed the rigorous three-year Chartered Financial Analyst certification process (2003). Over the years, Dawn has dedicated considerable time to several non-profit organizations concentrated on community improvement. She believes fervently in critical role played by the Pittsburgh Film Office in promoting Pittsburgh’s cultural and economic position.

Dawn grew up in Chartiers Township, Washington County, PA, and currently lives with her husband and three daughters in Sewickley Heights, PA.
