
Eddie Edwards
Eddie Edwards Jr. is an accredited corporate attorney belonging to the Pennsylvania Bar and is a certified agent with both the NFL and NBA Players Associations. Eddie received his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctorate for the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
The journey of negotiating contracts for professional athletes began for Eddie in 2004 as he represented NFL All Pro and 3-time NFL Pro Bowl Punter Andy Lee in the NFL Draft. In April of 2004 Andy Lee was drafted in the 6th round of the NFL Draft, which was 6 months into Eddie’s certification as a NFLPA Contract Advisor. Twenty plus years later, Eddie continues to represent professional athletes in their contract negotiations, while being an owner of the LA Sports Group, based in Los Angeles, CA.
In addition to Eddie’s experience in professional sports, he has also served as legal counsel to some of Hollywood’s brightest stars, assisting them with their legal matters. Throughout his career, Eddie has established himself as a trusted advisor to his high-profile clientele.
Prior to Eddie’s entry into the world of corporate, sports management and entertainment law, Eddie served as the Vice President of WPTT, Inc. and Glencarin, Ltd., which was the holding company for eight television stations in major markets spanning the United States. During his tenure in television, Eddie was no stranger to complex and comprehensive contract negotiations.
Eddie has been practicing Corporate, Sports and Entertainment law for the past twenty-two years.
